Preparing Your Child for Kindergarten

Help! My daughter will be starting kindergarten in two weeks. What can I do to make sure she enjoys this new experience? -- First Timer
Answer: If your daughter has had a good preschool experience, chances are she'll enjoy being in kindergarten. Nevertheless, the first day of school goes much better if young children see some familiar faces in the classroom. Try to have play dates for her with a few of her future classmates. Plus, try to acquaint her with the school building as much as possible.
