Earning College Credits in High School

I would like to complete college in three years. Is there any way I could start earning college credits now? - High School Sophomore
Answer: Right now, about 5 percent of all high-school students are enrolled in what are called dual-enrollment programs that let them earn both high-school and college credit for courses taken at colleges and universities. Your school could be one of the 71 percent of public high schools offering this type of program.
Also, it is possible to earn college credit for achieving good scores on Advanced Placement exams. Colleges have different requirements for the AP scores needed to earn credits and the number of college credits that can be earned.
A third possibility is to be attending a high school that offers courses through the International Baccalaureate program. Many colleges will offer credit for students achieving a specific qualifying score in these subjects.
