Improving Handwriting Skills

My son who is in third grade still has sloppy handwriting. What can I do to help improve his handwriting? - Concerned
Answer: Handwriting skills are important, as most schoolwork is still done with pencil and paper rather than on computers. Plus, poor handwriting is bound to influence teachers' reactions to your children's papers.
Try these activites to work on your son's handwriting skills:
-Keep improving your children's small motor skills by having them eat with chopsticks and play the game Operation.
-Select an alphabet letter, then give each child a favorite book. Have the child write as many words as possible beginning with that letter found in the book in 5 minutes.
