I read your advice concerning invented spelling and found it amazing. I am the father of a 27- and a 17-year-old. I'm so glad their teachers recognized invented spelling for what it was: incorrect spelling. Invented spelling is a farce. This kind of thinking is one of the reasons for the poor state of education in this country. -- Correct Speller
