How to Send SAT Scores to Colleges

I'm taking the SAT soon. How do I handle reporting my scores to colleges? -- Too Many Options
Answer: Until March 2009, students had to submit SAT scores from all the times they took the SAT. Now there is another option called Score Choice that lets you tell the College Board which test date or dates you wish to send. This lets you put your best foot forward when you send off scores.
You need, however, to know that not all colleges will accept Score Choice. Many still want to see all of your scores. The College Board website (www.collegeboard.org) has a searchable list of colleges with their SAT score submission requirements, as well as more information on Score Choice.
It is not usually a bad idea to send all your scores to colleges, as they typically will consider just your highest scores if you take the SAT more than once. If you only submit one date, then schools will not see higher scores from other test dates. Furthermore, sending in spring test scores can tell colleges of your interest in their school.
