Also, it is extremely easy to go online to college search sites and simply enter in your son's qualifications and what he is looking for in a college (location, size, majors) and immediately get a long list of possibilities.
When a high-school student has not done well academically, going to a community college can often be a solid choice. At these schools, classes are generally smaller, and students receive more guidance.
