Most education experts disagree with you. Of course, the computer can be a great educational tool; however, the way most children use it is another story. Here are some of the negatives of being a junior computer addict:
- Games require only short periods of concentration, while school requires much longer periods of concentration.
- Children are losing valuable sleep time because they are spending so much time on the computer.
- Computer time cuts into exercise time.
- Too much computer time severely limits valuable personal interaction with others.
